Professor`s Diner in Kings Park

What a great little place. Went for breakfast and was not disappointed. Omelet was delicious, pancakes and sausage were as well. I think I found my Sunday after church breakfast spot.

Neighborhood gem! The food and service is top of the line. If you haven't gone here I highly suggest going! Portions are generous.

If you want to support an owner who doesn't pay his staff by all means, go ahead... Just know the kind of person your giving money to

Had to wait a little longer than I wanted to order, but the people were very nice. The good came quick, and was amazing. I ordered a turkey club on rye. The bacon was perfectly crisp and tasty, turkey was delicious and finished with lettuce and tomatoes. The proportions were great. The bread was light but a tough crisp. Everything was cooked perfectly.

Definitely a decent regular diner! I'd recommend it if you live nearby. Good solid breakfast.

Professors offers good solid comfort food in generous servings at very reasonable prices.If you like bacon order any breakfast selection with bacon and you will be delighted with the quantity and preparation. The service is friendly, and attentive. It is a comfortable place.I take it down from four stars to three based on the decor. The decor is very neighborhood, personal, cluttered and dated. It is kind of fun but from a bygone era.Not sure it will attract younger singles, couples or young families. Just a thought.

This little gem is in a shopping plaza and is now opened until 7 or 8 pm for early dinner patrons. The place is clean, staff friendly, and ambience reminds me of a good old fashioned dinner environment. We had omelets that came with homefries and your choice of toast. (White, seedless rye, or wheat) I have to tell you this was one of the best breakfast omlettes we have had. The homefries were seasoned good not spicey and nothing was greesy. The prices are very good and they even offer a huge breakfast special for like 5.99! I was nosey and was looking at what other people ordered as it went past the table and everything looked homemade and smelled wonderful. We will be back to try other things out on the menu for sure! Great dinner clean food is good.

I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I like how the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the place well kept consistently. Rates are fair and they serve sizeable portions.

There is a sense of home when you enter Professors. It's a small but friendly place. They get pretty busy at peak times. We had a late breakfast which was excellent. Griddle cakes were the best I've had in a long time. Our waitress was very sweet and helpful.

The best egg salad. Friendly staff. Might as well call this place home.

Very nondescript exterior in a strip mall, but inside it is beautiful, like an old-fashioned Diner. Food and service were very good. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent breakfast...service was spot on..Upstate feel and if that isn't enough the diner is spotless. Definitely going back!

Great old fashioned luncheonette style service & atmosphere. Not many places left like this. I wish they were open later than 7:00 or 8:00 pm and only until 3:00 pm on Sundays. YUM!!

Do Not waste your time ! Everything is frozen and processed . They also have a rodent problem according to the NY Health Inspections and i'm sure rodent droppings are ending up in the food ! Keep away from this place.

Very good food and a very nice breakfast

This is an awesome local haunt that is family owned and operated. Kevin, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating to his customer base. We love going to Professors for breakfast and grabbing a lunch special from time to time! My favorite is their corned beef hash special! Plus, we enjoy the different decorations for each season! St. Patrick's Day is always a celebration, at Professors!

A real small town feel. Caring family setting like you stepped back in time. Real strong community pride. Feels like the diner from Happy Days, except Al's name is Kevin. All your favorite diner foods. Excellent for breakfast. Try a gyro for dinner...they have take out specials.

Called to place an order to pick up was disappointed in the way call was answered as well and when I asked him if they had steak either skirt steaks sirloin he was shocked n said “what” they had no idea maybe they just serve burgers n sandwiches I have no clue but smgoing elsewhere tonight

I used to come here every week with my grandparents. After developing a friendly relationship with the professor and his staff I can say this is my favorite place to eat. After coming back from university, having not come here for about 6 years, I walked in and was greeted with enthusiasm. I cannot recommend a better diner to eat at.

Saw the grilled cheese someone gave a bad review on walk past us and get sent back immediately lmao 😂 don’t know how you can mess that up, or undercook pancakes. Asked for a little spinach on my eggs florentine and even the server was like i wonder what a regular amount is cauae there was still a pile. And I wouldn’t be surprised if I got sick from my eggs cause it took eating into them to see the stringy clearness still undercooked in the inside. $30 for chocolate milk, pancakes and eggs florentine is a rip off

Great Neighborhood diner!

Clean and fast service....and the people are professional and nice as can be. I will be traveling to kings park for their food. And lets not forget to mention the food is really good.. The bacon cheeseburger didnt even need ketchup nd the onion rings are to die for.
